When it came to the Ludlum novels, there was this running joke in our house about how we could never remember the titles, due to how goofy/interchangeable they all were. But in our family's living room, there was a library of "dad books", which was mostly comprised of Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum, a few of the Bonds, and a whole bunch of writing on basketball (context: my dad was a coach). Growing up, I went to the library to read all the Stephen King, Clive Barker, and splatterpunk I could get my hands on.
